Toy Story is back! We've waited 11 years for the upcoming Toy Story 3. Sucks that they all die in the end. Toy Story 3 will enlighten many teenagers rather than little kids since they have all been waiting for the longest time to see the movie. Google Buzz for Mobile


Google Buzz is now coming to cell phones. It tells you what traffic is where and what street they are on. Google Buzz is on the Android, Blackberry, iPhone, Nokia S60, and the Windows Mobile. Google Buzz is a great application that will help a lot of people with traffic and what freeways are blocked or not. It can also show what the weather is or anything like that.

Youtube Expands Movie and TV Rentals


The YouTube Store has now made move and tv rentals longer. With classics like Reservoir Dogs and Precious, you can now watch movies up to 72 hours. Rentals range from $.99 to $3.99. The New York Times deduced that figure by counting the number of views on each of the five films, but you can't do that now-view counts are hidden. You can watch any movie that is in the stock of YouTube and its movies.

HP motion controller


HP Pavilion desktop PCs now have a motion controller. There aren't a lot of details yet but apparently the HP Swing is being bundled with HP Pavilion desktop PCs in India. The motion controller will not be available separately and as of right now, there are not any release dates yet. Below is a picture of the motion controller.

Germany and Google Maps fight


Google maps has now upset Germany. Police say that a Google Street View car left parked up overnight was vandalized, resulting in camera cables being cut and flat tires. Street Views has been somewhat controversial in Germany, with many people concerned over privacy issues and it appears this was a protest against just that. AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon Wireless are now making recyclable SIM cards so when your done you can go back to the stores and recycle them. Soon enough, they will be making recyclable phones.

New Blackberry OS 6.0


Blackberry has now come out with the Blackberry OS 6.0. The new blackberry now allows a media player with downloadable album covers and categorical media library. It also allows a YouTube app with searchable video, the ability to play back said video in landscape mode and stereo sound, a categorical searchable library for photographs, and a calendar with usable meeting data that appears to sync not just the data, but the connection, very likely with Microsoft Outlook. A tabbed Web browser is also included.

New Nokia N8


Nokia has a new N8 model. Model broadband services are now offered by Nokia after announced the launch of the N8 and its latest smartphone. It comes equipped with mobile broadband. The N8 will hit the shelves in the third quarter of this year. It allows you to watch television programs on demand and allows you to access mobile internet services. The smartphone also embraces social media by allowing users to keep their statuses updated. It also has walk and drive navigation.

iPhone 4.0


"We weren't first to the party, but we're gonna be the best."-Steve Jobs. Apple has now come up with the new iPhone 4.0. Jobs states that they have new a multitasking platform. This will allow you to use many different applications at the same time, while you can be on the phone. It will also be a better battery saver since you could do it all at the same time. Apple has gone through tens of thousands of applications in the app store and have distilled the serviced those apps need to run in the background. Apple is providing seven multitasking services including : background audio streaming and Pandora. One more app added to the iPhone 4.0 is Skype. You can also do many applications while on Skype.

Verizon Launches V Cast apps



Verizon Wireless introduced its V Cast Apps store on Monday, initially rolling out the service across smartphones beginning with the Storm2. According to a Verizon spokesperson, V Cast Apps "should start appearing on Storm2s over the next few weeks." V Cast Apps was first announced last July at the maiden Verizon Developer Community Event and originally slated to go live in Q4 2009. The process of building an app store proved a significant challenge but that Verizon Wireless wanted to guarantee all the pieces were in place before officially going live.

Social Media is Controlling Everyone's Lives


A study showed that among half or social-media users say that they check Facebook and/or Twitter from bed at night and/or as soon as they wake up in the morning. 16 percent of users say that these social media sights are how they get their news for the day, rather than watching the news. More than 50 percent of social-media users report that they need to check Facebook at least once every day. More than 10 percent say that they have to log on every few hours. One in three respondents will take a message during a meal, and one in fourteen respondents would take a message during sex.

Green Day Coming to Rock Band


Harmonix and MTV have announced that Green Day: Rock Band will be released for PS3, Wii, and Xbox 360 will be worldwide on the 8th June. The game includes over 40 minutes of video from interviews and features 47 tracks. Some songs include "Brain Stew", "Jaded", "Hitchin' A Ride", "American Idiot", "Wake Me Up When September Ends", and "Boulevard of Broken Dreams". All 47 tracks can be exported to play Rock Band 1, 2 and the forthcoming third installment, while the six songs already available on DLC on the Rock Band Music Store will work in GDRB, complete with added vocal harmonies and other exclusive material.

Marvel Comics Television


RTC23 Inc. has now just created Marvel Televisions. Roundtable Concepts Inc is now launching RTC23, Marvel Comic LCD and LED HDTV's. The characters consists of Iron Man, Captain America, The Hulk, Wolverine, Thor and others. The Characters appear on the casing but when you power on the TV, the name and the character appear on the screen for approximately 8 seconds making it the "Ultimate Comic's Fan's TV."

Zoolander 2!

Ben Stiller has now confirmed he is doing a sequel for the 2001 comedy hit, Zoolander. He has said before that he had always wanted to do another movie for Zoolander, but never could and is now delighted to be making a Zoolander 2. Stiller said, "I've been trying to get Zoolander 2 together and we've had a few scripts. I feel that the sequel I really would like to do some day because I like the original and I would make sure it was something new and worthy of it first."

Microsoft'S First LG Phone 7 Series


Microsoft just came out with a new LG Windows Phone 7 Series. The Qwerty Slider is the first branded Windows Phone 7 Series device the world has ever seen. The hardware and software are both obviously early though. The Qwerty is a little bit thinker than the iPhone or Nexus One. There is a hardware camera, volume, power buttons in addition to the back, home, and search buttons. The camera is a 5 megapixel camera with a flash on the back, along with a headphone jack.

Olympic athlete dead at 21


A Georgian luge slider competing at the Vancouver Olympics, Nodar Kumaritashvili passed away while training and hit a metal pole. He was only 21. On Friday night's Winter Olympics Opening Ceremony, a moment of silence was observed to honor him and his fellow Georgian Olympians wore black armbands in his memory. Before the tragic event, he told his fater that he was terrified of the track. Kumaritashvili was supposedly traveling at speeds greater than 90 miles per hour at the time of the crash.

Skype is now coming to Verizon 3G phones. This will be possible on a handful of phones, although you have to have the compatible handsets. Verizon customers have to have the smart phones, with a specific data plan. They will be able to make and recieve unlimited Skype-to-Skype voice calls to any person in the world over the network.

Samsung has now launched the N150. It is said to be released as the first ever netbook with bui;t-in 4G chipset. The PC doesn't lose any of its initial specs, including the 1.66GHz Pine Trail-era Atom and IGB of RAM. It has around 8 hours of battery.

Avatar: Top Grossing Movie of All Time


James Cameron, the director of Titanic, has now said that Avatar is the best movie he was ever made. Avatar is now the highest-grossing movie worldwide. James Cameron also directed the older top grossing movie of all time, Titanic, so now he has directed the top two top-grossing movies of all time. We can only wait to see how many Oscar nominations we will get.

James Cameron, director of Avatar and Titanic, is now directing Avatar 2. SlashFilm has heard from the crew members that it is in the making. We probably wont have an official confirmation from Fox about this for a while, most likely because they want to hammer out some deals and make sure everything is hundred percent. i guess we will just have to wait and see.

Youtube rentals with Sundance Film Festival

Youtube has been working with the majors when it comes to getting movies online. It is now using the indie 2010 Sundance Film Festival to test rentals. The Youtube blog confirmed that it will offer five festival films. This runs online in the U.S. only with rentals from Friday through Sunday, Jan. 31.

Netflix on Wii

The Nintendo Wii is now getting Netflix's streaming service which is already available on competing game consoles. This spring, the streams from online movie-rental service will be available at no additional cost for Netflix subscribers with unlimited plans, which start at $8.99 a month. Last fall the Sony Playstation 3 had Netflix, and like the Wii, the owners will need a free, instant streaming disc from Netflix to access content. Xbox 360, first console to have Netflix streaming, requires no extra disc. Wii owners can get started with their instant-streaming disc now on Netflix's Wii page.

Indie Bands Are Coming to Rock Band and Guitar Hero

Rock Band is now letting some indie bands into their franchise. Most record companies tell musicians that they shouldn't do anything like Rock Band or Guitar Hero without a larger upfront payments, but if they do Rock Band or Guitar Hero, the bands would have a lot more fans. Its cool that Harmonix and MTV Games are making it easier for independent artists to get their music into the games. We dont know yet which bands are going to be in the Rock Bands or Guitar Hero's, but we will find out soon.

The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien-cancelled


Conan O'Brien's show, The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien, is now cancelled. NBC has been having a lot of problems with his show and The Jay Leno Show. Leno's show has been having low ratings compared to the very high ratings of Conan's. The Tonight Show got off to a very good start, but eventually the ratings rapidly dropped. It is now tied with the Late Show with David Letterman. As a result, NBC has cancelled O'Brien and brought back Leno to the Tonight Show. The details are still being worked out but O'Brien's final show could come as soon as January 22nd. Luckily for Conan, his exit deal will not prohibit him from going to a competitor. He will most likely end up doing a late night show for another network. At one time, it seemed like he would of gone to ABC but now, he has the option of FOX.

Ghostbusters 3


The Ghostbuster's one and two's director, Ivan Reitman confirms all the rumors about Ghostbusters 3. The Movie will come out in 2012 and the three original characters will hopefully be in the movie. Other original members of the previous films might have a couple parts in the third movie. The director said that after 25 years, there seems to be some willingness to proceed and apparently a substantial public appetite for a sequel.

China suing Google

China is suing Google. The Google Books project raised objections from the authors and publishers in the US, France, Germany, and other countries. Google also reached a settlement with the US authors and publishers last year over a copyright infringement suit filed in 2005. Overall, Google agreed to pay 125 million dollars to resolve outstanding claims and establish an independent unit to provide revenue rom sales and advertising to authors and publish who agree to digitize their books.

Golden Globes in 3D


The 67th Annual Golden Globes will be live on NBC on Sunday, January 17, 2010 at 8:00pm. The TV Guide Network is bringing red carpet coverage on TV and online to fans. This year will be different though, they are adding 3D. TV Guide's red carpet show will show something they called, "Hologram Glam Cam." The whole idea for the 3D "Glam Cam" is that they will show images of the stars in the red carpet looks earlier virtually. Then fans could look at the fashion hits and misses.
