Netflix on Wii
The Nintendo Wii is now getting Netflix's streaming service which is already available on competing game consoles. This spring, the streams from online movie-rental service will be available at no additional cost for Netflix subscribers with unlimited plans, which start at $8.99 a month. Last fall the Sony Playstation 3 had Netflix, and like the Wii, the owners will need a free, instant streaming disc from Netflix to access content. Xbox 360, first console to have Netflix streaming, requires no extra disc. Wii owners can get started with their instant-streaming disc now on Netflix's Wii page.

The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien-cancelled

Conan O'Brien's show, The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien, is now cancelled. NBC has been having a lot of problems with his show and The Jay Leno Show. Leno's show has been having low ratings compared to the very high ratings of Conan's. The Tonight Show got off to a very good start, but eventually the ratings rapidly dropped. It is now tied with the Late Show with David Letterman. As a result, NBC has cancelled O'Brien and brought back Leno to the Tonight Show. The details are still being worked out but O'Brien's final show could come as soon as January 22nd. Luckily for Conan, his exit deal will not prohibit him from going to a competitor. He will most likely end up doing a late night show for another network. At one time, it seemed like he would of gone to ABC but now, he has the option of FOX.

Golden Globes in 3D

The 67th Annual Golden Globes will be live on NBC on Sunday, January 17, 2010 at 8:00pm. The TV Guide Network is bringing red carpet coverage on TV and online to fans. This year will be different though, they are adding 3D. TV Guide's red carpet show will show something they called, "Hologram Glam Cam." The whole idea for the 3D "Glam Cam" is that they will show images of the stars in the red carpet looks earlier virtually. Then fans could look at the fashion hits and misses.
