Google Buzz for Mobile


Google Buzz is now coming to cell phones. It tells you what traffic is where and what street they are on. Google Buzz is on the Android, Blackberry, iPhone, Nokia S60, and the Windows Mobile. Google Buzz is a great application that will help a lot of people with traffic and what freeways are blocked or not. It can also show what the weather is or anything like that.

Youtube Expands Movie and TV Rentals


The YouTube Store has now made move and tv rentals longer. With classics like Reservoir Dogs and Precious, you can now watch movies up to 72 hours. Rentals range from $.99 to $3.99. The New York Times deduced that figure by counting the number of views on each of the five films, but you can't do that now-view counts are hidden. You can watch any movie that is in the stock of YouTube and its movies.

HP motion controller


HP Pavilion desktop PCs now have a motion controller. There aren't a lot of details yet but apparently the HP Swing is being bundled with HP Pavilion desktop PCs in India. The motion controller will not be available separately and as of right now, there are not any release dates yet. Below is a picture of the motion controller.

Germany and Google Maps fight


Google maps has now upset Germany. Police say that a Google Street View car left parked up overnight was vandalized, resulting in camera cables being cut and flat tires. Street Views has been somewhat controversial in Germany, with many people concerned over privacy issues and it appears this was a protest against just that. Recyclable SIM cards


AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon Wireless are now making recyclable SIM cards so when your done you can go back to the stores and recycle them. Soon enough, they will be making recyclable phones.

New Blackberry OS 6.0


Blackberry has now come out with the Blackberry OS 6.0. The new blackberry now allows a media player with downloadable album covers and categorical media library. It also allows a YouTube app with searchable video, the ability to play back said video in landscape mode and stereo sound, a categorical searchable library for photographs, and a calendar with usable meeting data that appears to sync not just the data, but the connection, very likely with Microsoft Outlook. A tabbed Web browser is also included.

New Nokia N8


Nokia has a new N8 model. Model broadband services are now offered by Nokia after announced the launch of the N8 and its latest smartphone. It comes equipped with mobile broadband. The N8 will hit the shelves in the third quarter of this year. It allows you to watch television programs on demand and allows you to access mobile internet services. The smartphone also embraces social media by allowing users to keep their statuses updated. It also has walk and drive navigation.

iPhone 4.0


"We weren't first to the party, but we're gonna be the best."-Steve Jobs. Apple has now come up with the new iPhone 4.0. Jobs states that they have new a multitasking platform. This will allow you to use many different applications at the same time, while you can be on the phone. It will also be a better battery saver since you could do it all at the same time. Apple has gone through tens of thousands of applications in the app store and have distilled the serviced those apps need to run in the background. Apple is providing seven multitasking services including : background audio streaming and Pandora. One more app added to the iPhone 4.0 is Skype. You can also do many applications while on Skype.

Verizon Launches V Cast apps



Verizon Wireless introduced its V Cast Apps store on Monday, initially rolling out the service across smartphones beginning with the Storm2. According to a Verizon spokesperson, V Cast Apps "should start appearing on Storm2s over the next few weeks." V Cast Apps was first announced last July at the maiden Verizon Developer Community Event and originally slated to go live in Q4 2009. The process of building an app store proved a significant challenge but that Verizon Wireless wanted to guarantee all the pieces were in place before officially going live.
